In his past music, he has seen people, after listening to it, bring Christ back towards the center of their lives. That is his hope for these new re-releases.

“It’s like when you read your bible, and you’re reading the New Testament and you’re reading about Jesus and you’re reading the Gospels. The more you read about Jesus you’re like, ‘Man, I really like this guy. I really like how Jesus was moving back then.’ It makes you impressed by Christ and what he did. It makes your love for him grow.”

He says that his old music can be compared to reading the bible. He wants listeners to hear about what Jesus did and does, and be inspired to love God more.

One of his three projects he released is called Christian Rap for Dummies. When he originally made those songs, it was called Coming Soon and was about “Christ dying for sin, resurrecting, going back to Heaven, and eventually he’s going to come soon for us.” He wanted this new title to grab people’s attention, and provoke them to listen.

“The reason I called it that was, let people know the way Christian hip-hop should be presented. If you’re going to call yourself a Christian rapper, you should rap about Christ.”

Lord this album will bring your name glory. #TrapTheology

Young Noah does not have a problem with rappers who are Christian not wanting to be called Christian rappers, saying that the Christian hip-hop movement is designed to uplift Christ. “You don’t have to call yourself a Christian rapper if you’re just going to rap about life and stuff, but if you say you’re a Christian rapper, but you’re not rapping about Jesus Christ, you’re not a Christian rapper, and that’s fine. There’s nothing wrong with that. You can rap about whatever you want.”
