One of his more energetic music videos is for Social Club’s “Cops,” a fan favorite song.
“We really wanted to be random. It kind of fits their personality. That’s what I liked about it, it was just weird.”
Marty of Social Club talked to Will beforehand saying that he wanted to do a music video. They had a concert that night with a meet-and-greet session, so they decided to go with the pizza party idea, ordered some pizza, and recorded Marty & FERN’s interactions with their fans. There was an alley next to the concert venue with lots of random objects which were used in the video.
They sped up the footage “because we really wanted it to feel like the viewer is drunk… think of it as if you’re watching this video and you’re drunk and having a party.” He does not recommend that people get drunk, but that is the feel that they wanted for this video.
