He believes that he talks about some taboo topics in My Own Worst Enemy, his most recent album that came out in June. Ultimately he wants to communicate God’s grace in the album.
In “Forever King” Tragic Hero talked about domestic abuse. He wants to help people who feel like he does and remind them that they are made for greatness, calling them a king.

Tragic Hero said that the day he shot the music video for his song “Winter” with Scouts Honor Media Company was the coldest day of winter. “I had no idea why we chose that day.” The song is about him being held back the opinions of others. “‘You left me cold as the winter’ is like saying to somebody, ‘listen, I don’t need your affirmation. I have a purpose. I can just keep going.’” He says that he doesn’t have to live with the pressure of the opinions of others.
