3. Da’ T.R.U.T.H. – Open Book
Da’ T.R.U.T.H.’s third solo album had stellar singles like “Who Am I” featuring Tye Tribbett, “Price Tag” featuring Trip Lee, “Star Struck” featuring The Ambassador, “That Great Day” featuring Donnie McClurkin & Tye Tribbett and “Rose” featuring Lisa McClendon, among others. Open Book definitely had an impact on Hip Hop.
Open Book Is Available On iTunes.
Nominated For “Best Rock or Rap Gospel” – 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards
Great list!
Good list. but you know I’m one of those people that Feels Rehab is one of Lecrae’s best album. I would put in in the top 5
PrinceMalachi I think we were just trying to avoid putting an artist in the top 5 twice, lol!
Heroes For Sale by Andy Mineo would probably round out the top 5 or be on the extended list. And Weight & Glory by KB should be up there too. Hard hitting
@Brandon Those are great albums! They didn’t make the list because they weren’t nominated for a Grammy award. This is a top 5 “Grammy-nominated Christian Hip Hop albums” list. Andy and KB have the talent to get a Grammy nomination in the future. I pray they do!!!!
I’m glad to see GRITS is on the list. They have been so overlooked by the CHH community and GRITS did a lot for CHH.
