I will never understand how a Christian man who says out of his own mouth that his music od not christian, win awards for christian music…that just goes over everyones head smh.
Blame the awards committees for that one…not Lecrae’s fault
Yet at the same time, he accepts the award. If I’m a r&b singer, I’m not making rock music, yet i win awards for best rock album, why would i accept that…lol hmmm
Shout out to Lecrae for being the first rapper to win best gospel album
It’s a Grammy, why wouldn’t you? He is still a Christian and his music is still played and accepted by gospel outlets. Music can fit in numerous categories.
In the long run, winning the Grammy has opened up so many more doors that many of us can’t possibly imagine at this time.
what a disgrace after all the things that he said, he still doesn’t have a problem accepting the Grammy. when he is with Christians he always talks about Jesus, but when he is in the world he just talks about worldly rappers. why doesn’t he stop selling his music as Christian, if he says his music is not christian. i hope he could announce to everybody that his music is just like the secular music and let’s see what would happen. even in this page says christian hip hop moments, why is lecrae here if he clearly said christian is not hi genre.
