To create his new album, theBeatbreaker produced songs in batches. He had groups of song ideas and sifted through them to find out which would make the best records.

“It’s a loose process but it’s definitely a process.”

Heard Not Seen II includes ten songs with features from sixteen different artists. “They’re all incredible artists, incredible rappers, incredible singers, incredible writers.” Robinson says that one of the coolest things about working with these artists is that they are all good friends of his, like family, to use his own words.

“They give their maximum input to the album. It’s not just, ‘Let me write this verse for Nate because we’re buddies.’ Its ‘Let’s make some really good music together.’”

Nate Robinson was raised in Houston, Texas and says that being from there affects his music in every way possible.

“I grew up in the city in a certain era when there were a lot of great musicians within ten to twenty square miles from me. I got to experience them as I came up, [and was able to] watch and learn from them.”

He says that many of the people from Houston that he listened to have become international staples in the music industry.
