“Fear” is an interlude on Shopé’s EP saying that there is fear in freedom.

“For me, one aspect of my freedom was beginning to value myself and value my own thoughts enough to begin to put them out there.”

He says that there is fear on the way to freedom because we have to get away from what we know as comfortable.

“Highs, Lows, Stories,” featuring DRW NDRSN is Shopé’s story about his life and that in every life there are highs and lows. He talks about the struggle of being an immigrant in a new country; he and his family moved to Canada from Nigeria when he was eleven years old.

“We all have a story that the Lord has written about our lives. You should celebrate it because your story is worth celebrating, no matter where you are from.”
