At times, it seems like the world we live in has a negative vibe towards Christians. Many people are just waiting for believers to do something wrong so they can say “See, I told you they aren’t about that life.” Some fail to understand the gospel and what a follower of Jesus Christ is all about. An authentic Christian knows they are messed up and in need of a savior who transforms lives.
@_BasedMistress I'm not a Christian because I'm perfect but because I have zero problem admitting I'm a mess and need a savior.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. – Romans 3:23
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile (Romans 1:16). The gospel is a bold message, and we are not ashamed of proclaiming it. It is a powerful message, because it is God’s good news. It is a saving message, the only thing that can truly reform the human heart. It is a universal message, for Jews and Gentiles both. And the gospel is received by faith; salvation is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8–9).
