“Masterpiece” is a song on Borne Identity to remind people about the aspect of our identity as being created by God. He wanted to help those with issues such as “being insecure with how you appear, and it’s not just from a physical standpoint. Having to experience making a mistake in life and not seeing the full purpose and big picture of everything.” He says
“You may not see the big picture, but put your belief and trust and full dependency in Christ. You will end up being a masterpiece.”
“Hydroplane” is a husband and wife role-playing song featuring Swift and Adia about a marital crisis. The artists play a husband and wife talking about the challenges of marriage. “When you’re in a car and you’re driving in the rain and you hit a puddle and the car hydroplanes, it can do two things. It can either redirect itself and get back on course, or it can go out of control and crash.” He wants couples with conflict in their marriage to talk about their issues so they can avoid the point where they are metaphorically hydroplaning.
“Let’s not hydroplane. Let’s keep this thing on course and make sure that we can maintain a strong marital bond.”
