One of the greatest obstacles in his life was having a child out of wedlock at the age of twenty when he was in college.

“It put me in a place spiritually where it allowed me to connect with Christ in a way that I wasn’t doing before. It put a lot of things into perspective for me.”

He said that this dilemma caused him to grow quickly as a man and relate to people who have done things that they regret.

[column]Sean says that he can say to those people, “Look, God has blessed me to the point where even though I had a child out of wedlock, even though it felt like at that time my life was headed for disaster, God meant it for good. I married the mother of my child. I’ve been married twelve years. I have four kids, four beautiful kids.” He hopes that his story can encourage somebody that though they may have messed up, God can turn their life around and that bad things can turn into good outcomes.[/column]
