This summer Rhyme Council rapper R-Swift and Social Club outsiders Fern and MartyMar are teaming up for a multi-city music event they’re calling “The Underdog Experience.”
The traveling talent show will mix the gritty street style of Swift with the rowdy, unpredictable energy of the Social Club and a motivational message for fans of all ages. Its organizers are currently seeking open dates at colleges, night clubs, churches, schools, and pool parties across the United States.
Each night will feature a regional DJ and two local acts who will help set the stage for what will follow.
“We’re just some independent musicians looking to share our stories with a larger audience,” Swift said. “I bring a bit of that East Coast boom bap and y’all already know how those South Florida fools get a crowd amped.”
Swift said the event’s theme is a perfect tie-in to the “Misfit” movement cultivated by the Social Club.
“God always uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things,” Social Club’s MartyMar said.

The Swift/Social Club partnership is one that has been growing over the last year. Fans of both camps have witnessed their recent collaborations on the song “Misfit Gang” from Social Club’s recently released Rejects album and on the track “Raindrops” from R-Swift’s upcoming Apply Pressure project.
“We underdogs have got to stick together,” Swift said with a smile.
