Bio/Notes: WILLIE “P-DUB” MOORE, dynamic speaker, singer, songwriter, producer, model and thespian. Born and raised in S. Louis Missouri, Willie is the founder of Kingdom Music Inc. Kingdom Music Inc. is a faith-based corporation that is providing music, live concerts and an online community making it a “one stop shop” for Kingdom musicians, artists and authors.
Willie attended the University of Mississippi on a full track scholarship. Willie studied psychology, pledged the historically black fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi, and became a stand out student athlete.
After Willie’s college tenure he signed a multi-million dollar deal with Universal Records and established his former name (Pretty Willie) as a national and international Rap star. Willie’s first single “Roll Wit Me” outsold Whitney Houston’s national anthem CD upon its initial release. After two years at Universal, Willie developed his own company WILFLO, which derived its title from merging the names of his parents Willie and Flora Moore.
After three years of living on the west coast working with some of the industry’s best and establishing his brand, Willie moved back to St. Louis and settled in his home land only to discover a rising problem in his community with crime, drugs, and a rapidly growing high school drop-out rate. Willie’s heart was pierced by this, and he took action. Through prayer, Willie discovered that most of the main stream music that young people exposed themselves too was promoting and glorifying negative issues, without providing them a solution to change their situation toward a positive direction. Willie went into schools and taught students about healthy listening choices as well as the effects of over exposing oneself to anything. Young people across the nation took to Willie’s newfound love for outreach, motivation and empowerment through his life testimonies and stories.
Since then Willie “P-Dub” Moore Jr. has become a favorite for all age groups on the World Wide Web. Willie has extended his brand by having one of the most viewed MySpace pages of any unsigned artist (myspace.com/pdub); 15 million page views, 20.4 million song plays). With his new style of spreading the good news “KINGDOM MUSIC” and new online community THEYFS.COM well underway, Willie has been able to cross musical genres with his new single “Good Thang” and “Angel” which are currently getting airplay across the country on Hip hop, Urban AC, and Gospel stations. “God is Love!
