We are the fresh new look on Christian hip-hop and urban culture. We bring together our 24/7 radio stream, the top syndicated FM radio show in Christian hip-hop, a dope in-depth website, and now TV coverage of live concerts and events – all on your phone, tablet, or the web.  As one of the biggest and broadest media platforms for the Christian hip-hop market, we reach thousands of listeners across the globe, providing the most accurate & up to date information, including exclusive content from the hottest major & indie artists, as well as fresh video & radio programming to our growing audience.  We began as a weekly show called “The Friday Night Vibe” on KLYT in Albuquerque, NM.  Chris Chicago joined the KLYT team in 1999 and began syndicating his radio show in 2003.  It was rebranded HYPE Radio with Chris Chicago in 2007.  With the addition of a new app to focus on a more multimedia world, the brand was renamed Jam The Hype in 2012.  In July of 2013, we acquired DaSouth.com, one of the leading Christian hip-hop sites, and in October of the same year, merged DaSouth.com and JamTheHype.com together with a new look, logo, and website.  We exist to encourage our audience and give them an alternative to mainstream hip-hop and R&B.  We have seen many come to Christ through the music played on Jam The Hype’s radio show (Jam The Hype LIVE with Chris Chicago), online radio station, and the content on the site and want to continue using the vessel of music, radio, TV, and web to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We also want to provide radio stations with a bangin' radio show that rivals anything heard in the mainstream.
