Outside of his regular job at JPMorgan Chase, he is a youth director at his church. He feels impelled to help teens get through the pressures, situations, and insecurities of life, many of which he has been through.

I love impacting them as someone who has been there and found a way out of it.

His young adult ministry has partnered with other groups such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A very interesting organization that his group has partnered with is called Unchained. Tres expounds, “They are a unique ministry in that they host fashion shows with the themes being wrapped around human trafficking. It’s a very unique ministry to bring awareness to human trafficking through the art of fashion. They focus on the innocence piece and then they transition into more edgy and dark themes with individuals who are in human trafficking and those who are post-human trafficking wearing bright, colorful themed clothing.”

What can listeners expect from Tres Carter in the future? He says that he can’t tell others what to expect because he is always changing as a person.

I just try to be myself. Expect inspiration when you hear my music. Expect to be empowered and to share it with somebody else.
