Right now, he is on the Rise Tour with Trip Lee and when the tour is over will begin rehearsing for the Anomaly 2.0 Tour in April. Though he is touring right now with Trip Lee and KB, he normally goes everywhere that Lecrae goes. “I’m just running with Lecrae for the rest of the year. We will be in Europe for a little bit in May. All summer long we are doing festivals and will be going to a couple more mainstream festivals, which will be cool. That’s where we get a chance to shine.”
The Anomaly tour was comprised of top quality concerts with light shows, stadiums and other large venues, etc. He had been drumming for other well established artists, so he says, “I’ve seen all that stuff; the lights, the arenas. I’ve been in those situations but this was awesome because I’ve been involved with Lecrae for some years now so I’ve gotten to see the evolution happen and be a part of it while it was growing and that gives me way more satisfaction than any of the other stuff I’ve ever done.”
Since he was behind the scenes in the planning of the Anomaly Tour, he says “Some of the ways that it was presented were very intentional so that it wouldn’t scare the non-believer away… I was happy that they did a strategic job of making it very inviting to everybody.” One aspect of the tour that was very impactful to him was that
“Every night when Lecrae did his meet and greets before the shows he would bring in troubled kids, such as those from juvenile homes and that stuff is amazing to watch. I love it.”
