The issue of contacting artists about making music together was one factor that motivated him to put out his own project. “They’re not necessarily gonna get it if I put it in their inbox, so the best way I can try to communicate to people what I do is to put out a body of work myself.”

His album came out on February 24th and is called Heard Not Seen. It features Sho Baraka, Propaganda, Swoope, Derek Minor, Alex Faith, Dre Murray, and many others. There are several messages that theBeatbreaker wants to communicate on this new project.

“I want to communicate that real music still exists.”

By saying this, he is not talking about people being true to themselves in their music. [/column]

He wants to return to where musicians can and do play actual instruments. He is a big supporter of music education and runs the Music Life Studio giving music lessons to youth.

“I also want to challenge people to think beyond their own little sphere… Outside of your own little box, there is a whole world out there of people who are going through a lot of unfortunate stuff. What we tend to do a lot of times is say ‘They need to get themselves together.’” He wants people to have more empathy for others, especially those who are victims to unfortunate circumstances.
