Bio/Notes: In a market thats being taken advantage of by watered down rappers with catchy beats and no substance, Markedman the Trademark is a breath of fresh musical air! With a style that is recognizable but unparalelled, Markedman has found a way to put a positive message over catchier beats and still manage relevance in a flaky generation. Born Marquil Robinson in St. Petersburg, Fl. to Charles and Felecia, Markedman has shared his thoughts and writings into over 75 recorded hip-hop songs. He started writing songs in 1998 and recording in 2006 with a Gospel group called District 5ive. Markedman has opened shows for artists such as G86 and Play from the hip hop duo Kid-n-Play. He is currently a host/radio announcer for Markedman Radio on 1590 WRXB and in talks with record labels to release an album. Markedman the Trademark hangs his hat on the talents that God has blessed him with and a work-a-holic mentality.
