Houston, Texas-based emcee Lil Raskull recently (November 26) brought his fans a new project in the form of a mixtape titled 5ft Mogul.

The Javo recording artist is a Christian Hip Hop pioneer who has been releasing faith-based records at least since 1996, the year he dropped Controverse All Star. He is also known for his run while signed to Grape Tree Records, a former Christian Rap label that was one of the top imprints within its genre in the 90s. Ras has been nominated for Dove Awards and worked with artists like Pettidee, Rawsrvnt, L.G Wise, and Nuwine, among others. Artists like Tedashii and Dre Murray have given him props for his contribution to the Christian Hip Hop movement. In 2011, he released a project titled We Are Legend.

In 2012, the 5ft Mogul-crafter announced that a mixtape titled The Enemy Comes To SteelĀ would one day hit stores. A track called “Super” was uploaded to Ras’s youtube channel this year, and was supposed to be for The Enemy Comes To SteelĀ but ended up on his 2013 mixtape 5ft Mogul.

In August of 2013, Lil Raskull’s collaboration with Rawsrvnt for a single titled “Head Up High” surfaced on the web as a music video.
