Even though touring kept Lecrae from being in attendance at this year’s Dove Awards, the two-time Grammy winning artist had a prominent presence. He bagged up three awards in total for the night. Crae was awarded Rap/Hip-Hop Album Of The Year for the record-breaking album “Anomaly.” Also, Rap/Hip-Hop Song Of The Year for the hit single “All I Need Is You.” His biggest accolade of the night was winning “Artist Of The Year.” The first time a hip-hop artist has ever won the award.

“You can’t celebrate the gifts, without celebrating the Giver.” Lecrae said in his acceptance speech.

Next, he humbly takes attention off himself to thank his support system.

As Lecrae continues to knock down music industry doors, he brings more notoriety to Gospel music as a whole. Congratulations!
