Reach Records founder Lecrae adds another noteworthy artist to his list of collaborations, Rapsody of Kooley High. Legendary Hip Hop producer 9th Wonder revealed via Instagram that the Gravity-crafter collaborated with Rapsody at Bright Lady studios. Rapsody is an emcee who has worked with the likes of Statik Selektah, Ab-Soul, Chance The Rapper, Raekwon, Phonte and more. She is currently signed to 9th Wonder’s label, Jamla records. Wonder has done a lot of production for Rapsody, so it’s likely that her collaboration with Lecrae will have his North Carolina-based instrumental magic.

For those who are unfamiliar with 9th Wonder, he is a Grammy award-winning producer with credits on projects by artists like Jay-Z, Destiny’s Child, Ludacris, DRAKE, Common and MURS, among others. He won a Grammy for his work on Mary J. Blige’s album The BreakThrough (Good Women Down).  Wonder is also known for the records he crafted as a member of Hip Hop trio Little Brother (9thWonder, Phonte, & Big Pooh).

This is not the first time that Lecrae and 9th Wonder have worked on a record together. Crae’s critically acclaimed mixtape Church Clothes Vol.1 included 9th Wonder production on two tracks, “Rise” and “Long Time Coming” featuring Swoope.

We don’t know what project the Lecrae and Rapsody track will be on but according to 9th Wonder it’s coming soon.

Lecrae has confirmed via his social networks that he is working on his seventh studio album.
