Reach Records general, Lecrae, has a lot of momentum while heading towards the September 9 release of his new album, Anomaly. In the last few months, we have seen him announced as co-host of the 2014 Dove Awards, land at #1 on various Billboard charts, and appear on Sway In The Morning, among other achievements.
The success continues for the Atlanta, Georgia-based mover and shaker.
Lecrae’s Gawvi-produced song, “Nuthin,” has been nominated for a 2014 BET Hip-Hop award. The song is up for “Impact Track,” alongside Lupe Fiasco’s “Mission,” Common’s “Kingdom” ft. Vince Staples, The Roots’ “Never” ft. Patty Cash, and Talib Kweli’s “State of Grace” ft. Abby Dobson.

Its going to be close run between him, Lupe and Common but I think he can win it. Even if he doesn’t, its awesome that he got nominated along with some other great MCs.
