On September 17, the music world discovered that Lecrae made history when his Anomaly album debuted #1 on the Billboard 200. The All I Need Is You-crafter became the first artist to chart at #1 Gospel Albums and # 1 Billboard 200. Creezy garnered eight #1 Billboard spots, including in the Rap Albums category. Crae’s seventh studio album, Anomaly, sold over 88,000 copies in its first week. In its second week, Anomaly sold over 31,000, selling over 119,000 overall. It took Lecrae’s Grammy award-winning album, Gravity, three weeks to pass 100,000. Also, the Reach Records general is still #1 on key charts like Rap Albums and Christian Albums. Lecrae is showing consistency on the charts. This is huge for his brand and more listeners are hearing the message that he expresses through his lyrics.
