Konata Small of Rhema Soul recently dropped a visual for his single titled “High Top Fade.”
Watch the video:
“High Top Fade” was produced by Al Cresso (Trip Lee, Andy Mineo). The video was directed by Will Thomas for Space Cherry Films. “High Top Fade” reflects the passion and energy of hip-hop’s golden era while paying homage to old school legends like Kid ‘n Play and Big Daddy Kane.
“This song and video is really me wanting to celebrate the ones who came before me as well as those that have been on this journey with me…” – Konata
After releasing 5 official full-length projects with the hip-hop trio Rhema Soul, Konata took some time to begin working on his new music, new sound and new identity. Konata Small is set to venture out with his solo efforts. He finalized his first EP (‘est.1997’) and is looking forward to reintroducing himself as a solo artist in 2017.
