D. Davis is a Hip Hop Missionary & Christian Hip Hop Recording Artist based in Houston, TX. He has worked with and opened for the NAACP and their HIV Awareness Events in 2009 & 2010. He serves on the staff of the non-profit organization Eyes On Me Inc./Hip Hop Hope Missions in Houston and has worked with the kid's cartoon mascot Baby Isaac in various Houston elementary schools. D. Davis has performed & worked sound and lighting for various Christian Hip Hop events across the country such as Hip Hop Hope Tuesdays, South By Southwest (SXSW) 2011 & SXSW 2012, and Hip Hop Hope/City Takers Unity Conferences in Shreveport, LA & Austin, TX. He has lead weekly Bible studies at various juvenile boys group homes in Houston, has ministered in multiple prisons & youth detention centers across the state of Texas, mentored & discipled many at risk youth, baptized multiple youth, leads multiple weekly services in the Harris County Jail as a volunteer chaplain, serves as the local missionary & Missions Center Manager in the Brookshire, TX community at the Hip Hop Hope Missions Center where he leads multiple small discipleship groups throughout the week, & more. He has recently formed a team of artists and missionaries known as Team #HeartOfAServant and their mission is to "Love God, Love People, Serve God, & Serve People!" by using their gifts in the Hip Hop culture. Team Heart Of A Servant brings hope and love to those in need with their music and by organizing various events to serve families in dire need.
