Bio/Notes: My ministry started in 1995 when I was just 13 years old.  It was prophesied to me at that time by the choir director of the church that I would reach the youth through gospel rap.  Hearing that God would use me to minister through rap was a major surprise because I did not know that I had the ability to do so and aside from that I did not know that God could use the art of rap to reach the lost.  As time past, I began to develop my talents by memorizing and rapping songs by other artist (i.e. DC Talk, T-Bone, etc.).  I began to accept the calling God had placed over my life.  In 1997, I was asked to join a church rap group called “The Chosen Ones”.  The group was comprised of a talented group of emcees that not only had the talent to rap but knew how to preach the word of God.  Joining the group forced me to start writing my own lyrics which was another challenge for me but also helped me to develop my talents further.  Through time several members of the rap group began to leave for different reasons so I decided to continue with my ministry as a solo artist.  In 2001, I signed up for and was accepted to take part in C.A.T.S (Christian Artists Talents Search) and ended up as a runner up in the regional competition.  As time went on I have written several songs and have featured on other artists songs (i.e. Bobby Blanco – Anointed Volume 1, SYD – Pressure: The Mixtape, Witness this – Biblical Worldview Mixtape, etc.)  I have not given up on the ministry that the Lord has blessed me with and I am praying that the Lord continues opening doors so that I can complete my debut album which is a vision that has placed in my heart for a while now.

Aside from ministry I am blessed to have a beautiful family.  My wife and I have been married since 2003.  In our first year of marriage my wife became pregnant for the first time with our daughter (Anais Uriah Toro).  For reasons that only the Lord knows she is no longer with us but she will never be forgotten.  The Christ we serve is sovereign.  As believers we know that there is always a reason and a purpose for anything that happens in our lives.  In 2005, we were blessed with a son (He’s a true blessing).  God has always been so good to me and my family and because of that we are so grateful.
