Bio/Notes: Since the fall of 2005, Jesse “JMasta” Alne has been writing poetry, songs, and rhymes. He started off by performing his songs and raps in the men’s locker room after P.E. during highschool. In the fall of 2006, he finally turned on a microphone and recorded his first rap song with a buddy of his. It was at that point when he realized that he wanted to record more songs and take his writing ability to the next level. He messed around with beats and lyrics and such from 2006 until very early 2008, which is when he recorded his first single titled, “All Night, All Day”. After receiving a good response to his first single, he continued to write and record his songs. As he flourished more into the “JMasta” we hear today, the Lord truly began to work and move through his lyrical content. JMasta continued to write and record new songs for his debut independent album, Reachin’ Out Mixtape, and gives all the glory to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for every last bit of success he has found through his music. JMasta prays that his music continues to be inspiring and hopes to change lives with it as he continues to create it. |
