Bio/Notes: IV, the messenger of God’s word is like all of us. His beginnings are humble, filled with challenges, like so many of our youth today .This restored man was, born unto Charles and Veronica Conerly of New Orleans La., had his start in Escondido a small city in San Diego where he was raised most of his young life. IV also spent several years back and fourth to Los Angeles which had a major impact on him and his music. His home was nothing short of a concert hall were he was fed a steady diet of early Motown the finest Jazz and Gospel music.

I V’s life is just shy of a novel he has done so much in such a short time that he is wise beyond his years and has used his life experiences to help his fellow man find God, love, peace and the truth through his songs. IV started his career at 13, when he first heard his cousin South Sentrelle of the LBC Crew on the radio; it was at this time that he chose to take his music career a lot more serious. IV has worked with several local and main stream artist and producers throughout San Diego and L.A. his life wasn’t what he or his parent’s vision for him. I V became gang affiliated and was incarcerated a few times for various crimes, however he was blessed, God had a different plan, he was facing (4) felonies, but not one of his convictions stuck.

Once he decided to move to “up state” New York is when things changed for him, his parents influenced IV to get back into church. The voice stayed the same the style didn’t change but the words did. He now uses the word to nurture, teach, heal and show love. IV has been called to give the young people of today hope and a future, for what has sure been a spiritual battle for the ages. The Gospel in his music has the listener look at them for the most part and wants change, while other artist looks to have the listener destroy, endanger or even in some cases kill his fellow man. Young people have a tendency to look to one another for guidance why? Who knows but, better to have the young people look to someone that can lead them away from the path of temptation. He works as a reformed rap artist throughout the US full time and as an engineer in his own studio. This message is what’s needed today and forever!
