The Infidels, Monroe “Rhoyal Priest” Johnson and Alphonso “Shofar” Finley were formed in 2015. Originally members of the CHH group Soul Suhvivahz for 15 years, Monroe and Alphonso were led to embark on this new journey and created the Infidel Media Group in 2016. Their mission of encouraging, bringing light to the struggles and representing the modern infidel has led them to release the first single “No Words To Say” from an upcoming, untitled project scheduled to release this spring.
“No Words To Say” featuring Tru Rich gives three differing perspectives of challenges that young African American males face. Racial stereotypes, religious stereotypes and the struggle in the American urban streets are real issues that we all face but many of us are either blinded or afraid to address. The Infidels bring these topics to the table and pray that constructive dialogue takes place.
