Miles McPherson grew up on Long Island and attended the University of New Haven. He was the University’s first player to achieve All-American honors in football and to be drafted into the NFL. Miles was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Rams and ended up playing his entire career as a defensive back for the San Diego Chargers. In this short-film, Miles tells his personal story of drug addiction and the grace that can be found in Christ alone.

He is the author of several books, earned an Emmy Award in 2007 for a documentary on methamphetamine, and is now the senior pastor of The Rock Church in San Diego, CA.
