“I think [transparency has] been a really big part of my branding as an artist and a person period has been transparency and being genuine with people who listen to my music, wanting to keep it real with people, be raw, touch topics that are a little bit harder to touch but make sure when I do touch them I’m not sugar coating around it…”
TJ Pompeo says that some people think it is soft, especially for men, to be transparent and show emotion. He thinks “that is total crap and I want to dispel that myth honestly and that is my goal as an artist, that is what fuels me and drives me, to always be transparent with people.”
TJ and his siblings were raised in a Christian household, and he made a profession of faith with his parents at age four. When he was eight years old, a traumatic experience drastically changed his life.
