On August 11, VIBE premiered GAWVI’s new music video for “Late Nights,” which is on his EP titled ‘Lost In Hue.’ The visual follows GAWVI as he embarks on a night out in downtown Miami.
“This is a song that gives voice to my biggest fears and doubts when it comes to temptation…” – GAWVI
The momentum continues for the electro-pop/dance artist. His new EP debuted at number 2 Electronic/Dance and number 16 Independent album on the Billboard charts. This, combined with over 200,000 streams already for the EP on Spotify, has successfully solidified GAWVI’s transition (from crossover hip-hop producer) into dance music.
About GAWVI: GAWVI is an American electro-pop artist, DJ and award-winning music producer, born to an El Salvadorian father and a Dominican mother. After working under the tutelage of hit makers Rodney Jerkins and Pharrell, GAWVI grew a vision for his own art, merging hip-hop, pop and electro, to create a sound with a uniquely global appeal. GAWVI has produced a host of critically acclaimed hip-hop albums and Billboard-charting singles, including the GRAMMY Award-winning album Anomaly. His work was performed on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and has been praised by the likes of MTV, VH1, BET, Fuse, Esquire, EDM Nations, Magnetic Mag and VIBE. GAWVI’s debut EP ‘Lost In Hue’ is available now and he is set to release a second EP later this summer with Reach Records.
