Bio/Notes: Holy Rock Records was formed in January of 2007. The record label started off as F.R.O.G. & T.O.A.D. Ministries in 2004 with FROG & TOAD as the sole group. They were joined in late 2006 by the group Called Un2, and they all agreed upon a new name for the label; “Holy Rock”. They were later joined in early 2007 by the artist G.L.S. After the release of “Leaps and Bounds”(F.R.O.G. & T.O.A.D.) and “The Elect the EP”(Called Un2), HOLY ROCK began to move forward without artist G.L.S. in the ranks.In early 2009, Called Un2 decided to respectfully step back from the umbrella of HOLY ROCK to further their music independantly. F.R.O.G. & T.O.A.D. are now focusing on their sophmore album “The Illustration”, which is a picture on how God’s been shaping and molding them into the saints that He’s called them to be, as well as the trials they’ve gone through in this christian walk.
The focus of Holy Rock Records is to allow God’s Holy Spirit to illuminate through them, and to minister using the “vehicle” of Holy Hip-Hop. |
