[column]”Whole 9” is a song on Revival that Mike REAL says is important because when a person is leading a movement, they have to be all in for their cause. “I came in and had this idea for a whole different track, and dropped the hook for it, and we ended up getting this other track from Spec that’s a monstrosity.” FLAME wanted to take Mike REAL’s hook and put it on the new Spec track. Mike also said

“I’m pretty sure when we tour with that one, it’s going to be insane.”

“Escrow” is named after a financial term as a kind of account that you put money into and leave alone for it to build interest. The term is used in the context of Revival saying that people should live for Christ to save up the rewards of heaven. FLAME said that “Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians 3, [that] there is coming a day where we are going to have to stand before God and give an account for the deeds done in our body, whether good or bad.”[/column]

That is a message that FLAME thinks of often and goes well with the Revival message because “we want God to spark a passion for holiness in our lives, sound doctrine, for being evangelistic and disciple makers. The consequences for that are going to be the enemy, the flesh, the world putting pressure on the Christian to sin and compromise.” He wants a song to make sense for a believer in these situations to

“Lets not respond the way people want us to respond negatively. Lets remember who we are as Christians. If we’re put in a difficult situation, lets respond like Christ.”

He wants to encourage Christians to do the right thing and not fight back against those who may hate or mock them, knowing that they will have the rewards of heaven when they die.
