An active online multimedia presence is a significant part of Fedel’s artistry. This spring he has done a few “#LiveFrom…” videos documenting large concerts and events that he has performed at; for these videos he uses a camera on the end of a “selfie stick.”

“I have my own lane that’s separate from everybody, and I don’t mean that in a cliché way, I mean that like 80% of what I do is disconnected from Christian rap, so a lot of the shows that I do and where I’m engaged, there are no other rappers there.”

He has been a part of large concert and youth conference events where he was the only rapper among various rock bands. Recently he was the opening performer at an event in Missiouri with “all of these rock bands that if I named them you would know exactly who they are, 4500 people and I was the only rapper in the event.”

Outside of music, Fedel’s focus is primarily on his family. He is married and has a 1-year-old son and a six-year-old daughter. He wants to enjoy spending time with his kids while they are young. “Everything else can be done at a later time, but enjoying my kids is something that I won’t get that time back.”

You can keep up with Fedel on his Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and website.
