His new album is called FLAW, an acronym for “Fight Like a Winner.” He says, “the theme of it is being flawed, realizing you’re not perfect, but being not perfect doesn’t make you a winner. It doesn’t make you not valued.” He says that in Christ we have the victory, but our flaws often cause us to give up. “You see grace in the middle of flaw. You see flaw in the middle of grace… Even in your imperfections you fight like a winner would to try to win a game. The way you’re going to see past your imperfections is grace.” This album encourages people to persevere through life and their own flaws, knowing that in Christ they have victory. When a person has this understanding, they can fight like a winner.

Fedel’s main producer is Geeda, who produced ten of the songs on FLAW, while Steve-T and DJ Rek each produced one of the twelve new songs on the album. The last five songs on FLAW were from Fedel’s free EP Me Against the World. To create this album, the first thing he did was come up with the theme. He knew that he would release it in May, so he wanted a collection of songs that people would enjoy listening to during summer. “The album has a summer feel, it has a party feel.” The album features Derek Minor, Social Club, KB, and Tim Halperin.
