In October of 2015, he won a Dove Award for his production on Lecrae’s critically-acclaimed album titled ‘Anomaly.’

Derek Minor’s ‘Empire’ debuted at number 2 for Billboard Christian Albums, number 6 for Billboard Rap Albums, number 10 for Billboard Independent Albums, number 17 for Billboard Digital Albums, number 37 for Billboard Top Album Sales, and number 54 for Billboard 200.
