New Orleans, Louisiana-based emcee, Dee-1, recently revealed that a collab with Usher is “coming soon.” He didn’t say what the collaboration will be (song, album, event, program) and when it drops.
The RCA Records-rapper posted an Instagram picture of himself alongside R&B superstar Usher at Art For Rights, an event put on by Art For Amnesty, a program of Amnesty International, an organization that fights against injustice and for human rights.
Fighting against injustice is a priority for Dee-1.
In February of 2015, Dee-1’s ‘3’s Up’ EP landed at number 9 on the Billboard Rap Albums chart and number 6 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Dee released a visual for “My Student Got Murdered (Both Sides Of The Gun)” in October. He has released new content every Monday, for his Mission Vision Mondays series, the last few weeks.
Are you looking forward to a Dee-1/Usher song?
