In April, Christon Gray revealed that he parted ways with Collision Records. Gray made it clear that he left Collision on good terms in an open letter. He also said that record deal offers are on the table. On June 4, the Columbus, Ohio-based artist gave his fans an update on his talks with labels via his blog.
“On the label front, we’re still talking to a few parties, but nothing is done yet,” Christon Gray said. “These are big decisions I have to make, but whatever the Lord has in store for me, I’ll be ready… and I can promise you’ll know :).”

“Playing Favorites” is off Skyzoo’s new album titled ‘Music For My Friends,’ which drops on June 23.
“Dude is a beast on the mic and a true gentlemen for real,” Gray said. “We may have shot something else too, but why spoil the surprise.”
On April 30, Jam The Hype reported that Christon Gray is a confirmed feature on Skyzoo’s ‘Music For My Friends.’

No real label or labels come to mind. If he’s looking for the support a label brings and the financial backing then most will be fine. The main thing is staying true to God and the art form. I just hope he keeps making music with good thought and sound doctrine.
