Here at Jam The Hype we reached out to a variety of artists to ask them what their New Year’s Resolutions are for 2017. New Year’s Resolutions are a traditional but notoriously difficult way to resolve to do better or more of something in the New Year.

I have a few.
- Wake up at 3:45 a.m. or 4:00 a.m. every day and spend 20 minutes in the Word before my day starts (life changing if you can do it)
- Be more patient with myself, my wife, and my family.
- Drop a lot of new music.
- Better steward my time, commitments and ministry.

“2017 is a new year for me. All about new beginnings! I am really trying to work on what EVERYONE says they are going to do at the first of the year . . getting in better shape! I got caught up in the busyness of 2016 . . and I really need to work on that this year. I have to get back on the stage! Secondly, I HAVE to put out more music this year . . in 2016 I put out an ep with Deraj, got married, got a new job, moved into a new home . . . it was a busy year! I definitely want to do more in the way of music this year. You should be hearing something new at the first of the year!”
