I’ve been rapping for about 5 years. I started rapping (secular rap in grade 9 when I was 14) and started doing christian rap when I was maybe 16? I grew up in a christian home and reading the word and everything but I never really made the choice to live for Christ until I was 16. What God used actually to wake me up was christian hip hop! One night before me and some of my family went on a trip I thought “hey, I should put a christian rap cd together for the trip” I have no idea why but I thought I should do that. Well, that music definitely made me realize I needed to smarten up and devote my life back to christ. I’m 19 now, and just working on a mixtape, which is pretty much finished, should be out this summer.
