Christian hip-hop legend, Ras, just dropped a track titled “Let’s Go,” where he blows off some steam. “Let’s Go” was produced by Ion from Ionsphere Production.
Ras used this verse as musical therapy.
He speaks on some of the people he led spitting in his face and how he is going to keep going hard for Christ. The H-Town emcee used language some will not agree with [Warning].
Ras aka Lil Raskull is one of the original pioneers of Christian Hip-Hop. The award-winning artist was signed to Grapetree Records, which was considered by many to be the leading CHH record label in late 90s and early 2000s. Ras’ 1998 release titled ‘Gory to Glory’ was nominated for “Best Rap Album of the Year” by the Dove Awards. The Down South-rapper was one of the first CHH artist to appear in The Source Magazine, Rap Pages, and Billboard Magazine. Tedashii, Derek Minor, and Dre Murray, among others, credit RAS as being their first experience with Christian Hip-Hop. You can buy his ‘5 Ft Mogul Mixtape’ on iTunes.
Ras was recently on Grown and Saved TV with Von Won.
