For 19 years, I had been writing and recording music for the world, but once I gave my life to Christ, that definitely all changed. Now I am dedicating my music to glorifying Him and ministering to people who have no idea who He is. Through my style of Hip Hop, which incorporates elements of Soul, R&B, & Worship, my desire is to create an experience for the listener that is inspiring, bold, and honest while pointing all fingers to Jesus. The objective of this ministry is to create timeless music with an emphasis on quality and variety that can appeal to people who love Hip Hop and people who normally wouldn’t listen to Hip Hop.

Behind The Song
It’s a love song dedicated to my wife, plain and simple. However, truth be told, I didn’t like it when I first wrote it. I knew I nailed the hook and the break, but the verses weren’t up to par. I mean, how do you write the perfect song for your parent, spouse, or child? I guess I put a lot of pressure on myself to deliver, but once I laid it down, the Lord calmed me and ensured me He had this covered. The hard part was keeping it a secret for so long (it was almost a full year before Evelyn heard it), but even harder was playing it in front of her. She didn’t react too much at first. She’s one of those that needs time to digest deep songs but she fell in love with it eventually. I hope others will too. It’s a celebration of love and the beauty of marriage. We almost didn’t make it to this point, but God was with us every step of the way, and in a world that celebrates divorce and jumping from person to person, the Lord had me create something with a nostalgic feel that brings it back to a time when love and marriage meant something.
