Lyrics:

If I found a bullet on the ground
I would throw it up real high
I would look right at it as it fell
I would walk right past me if I fell
And I might walk past you
And I wouldn’t even wave hi
And I wouldn’t even wave bye

The concrete of the city is insidious
In a sense its architecture sits next palaces and tents
Filled with residents who cant cross the moat
The dragon gobbles up the boat

The love of an empire floods its villages
It isn’t content so it contends with those which live within
Little do those who should know better know
There’s no better gift than to acknowledge you don’t always know

Take me on a journey I will follow you
I will hold your hand
Yet it’s you I crawl to when I can no longer stand
An ocean awaits
Yet we remain on sand

If I found a bullet on the ground
I would throw it up real high
I would look right at it as it fell
I would walk past me if I fell
And I might walk past you
And I wouldn’t even wave hi
And I wouldn’t even wave bye

Look at the skyline isn’t it beautiful
They say the city air is no longer suitable
Peep creation, attention is demanded
It’s almost as if somebody planned it
I write truth I promise I wont pull your leg
The ink dries and it leaves the idioms upon the page
I write with an objective to use metaphor
So my generation wont be complacent anymore

An addict an underachiever and a whore
All labels will not suffer under any more
When truth hits it has no option but to make its
Way out of the lips
Into the realm where space and time continue to co-exist

And hope walked among us
Emmanuel
And hope walked among us
And hope walked among us

If I found a bullet on the ground
I would throw it up real high
I would look right at it as it fell

I would walk right past me if I fell
And I wouldn’t even wave hi
And I wouldn’t even wave bye
