Javier Reyes is a hip hop and spoken word artist based out of San Francisco and his mission becomes real when one of the best students he mentors is gunned down mistakenly in the streets.

This mini-documentary captures Javier’s phenomenal work by delivering hope in the midst of an affordable housing crisis, and innocent youth being shot.

Javier is part of the movement of artists/creators and leaders who are part of the Urban Youth Workers Institute movement. Give to support the work and training of Javier and more like him, and our work here at Jam the Hype.
