In a recent interview with Bizzle from SXSW, Chris Chicago asked Bizzle about a Thi’sl & Bizzle album (see 20:00 into video). In a phone call with the St. Louis rapper, Thi’sl was up for the idea.
The duo revealed later that there was already an album in the works for a release thru their distributor, New Day, dropping on June 24. “After Thi’sl laid down his track for my upcoming project, we both discussed how it just felt good to collab together,” the Houston-rapper Bizzle said in a recent interview.
Thi’sl interjected, “With Fallen King wrapped up, I’m ready to get back in the booth and create some different music with a great friend.”
They have asked us to have you help decide what cover would be better suited for such a release. Currently, the two concepts for the album revolve around a Bizzle vs. Thi’sl compilation or Thi’sl & Bizzle – Skulls & Crossbones.
Regardless of the cover, the compilation album will include all new songs from both artists, both solo and duo tracks. Other featured artists and producers are also planned, but have yet to be announced.
Now it’s your chance to vote on the better cover.
