Bio/Notes: My name is Ben Hammack aka Ben G. I’m an unsigned artist from Wichita, KS and I am 19 years old. I started rapping for The Lord as soon as I got a laptop in November of 2009. I use Garageband on my Macbook to produce my music. All of my beats are made by Bennett “Wunder Kind” Dunham who is from Spring Hill, Kansas.
I have struggled with idolizing things such as money and status but since being saved The Lord has changed my heart. I’m going to Manhattan Christian College (Kansas) for a degree in Youth Ministry this year as well as keep using music as a ministry. I eventually want to start a hip-hop ministry and/or get signed to a Christian label.
I plan to drop my first album most likely independently (unless i get signed soon) sometime this Fall. It’s called “Outta This World” and I am the only artist so far.
The song “I Hate You” is about money and the relevance it had in my life before and after i got saved, and how we should never let greed get the best of us. |
