Christopher Thompson is ‘the sleeper,’ in that he hasn’t dropped that much music (probably the polar opposite of another NYC MC on this list from Brooklyn), but when he does, it’s extremely impacting. He has a video that went viral (“Victorious” ft. Co Campbell), he’s part of Eshon Burgundy’s Salvation Armie Music Group collective, and he’s probably mixed, recorded, and mastered the music of some of your favorite artists at his Soundmynd Studios in Queens, NY. Now, this über-lyricist is preparing to drop anything from a couple more singles to an EP, to even a possible album. The nationwide Christian hip-hop community is gonna need that too…more than likely.
