Throw Another Swang is inspired from B. Ashton’s day-to-day fight that he went through to be a better person when life threw punches. While living and having God on your side, there are still challenging moments that we go through and by faith, if we throw another swing at the issues of life with service, love, and faith, we can overcome by the blood of Christ and our testimony.
Starting from growing pains, Brenian was the kid that was noticed but wasn’t known, loved but not adored, recognized but not honored. Growing up, he loved listening to music and at a point in his youth, loved dancing. B. Ashton is known to press the intent of not trying to be famous. He wants the world to know where he comes from and where family, friends, and especially God is taking him. Deriving from a past of rejection, lust, sexual immorality, sneakiness, and a bag full of sin, God has been gracious to him and love has overtaken him. From the moment he began writing music in 2008, Jesus has ravished his heart to write for His glory alone in 2010. Since then, he is inspired, motivated, unashamed, and ridiculously passionate to spread the good news through music and off the stage. He loves to rock stages to street corners and from schoolhouses to neighborhood communities about a love that’s been chasing them since day one.
