Philadelphia native Atiba Halisi (f/k/a Phien) was a battle rapper who became convicted to rap about the life that he was actually living. He apprenticed under Cross Movement members and released two well-received mixtapes. His debut album, The Understudy, was released in November 2014 to much fanfare.
