JTH: Have you gotten to know some of the folks from Mixed Bag?

Aaron: I haven’t gotten to know a lot of them, but I’ve gotten to know Gary and Mark, who are the heads of the label. They’re mainly in the background. I haven’t met Da’ T.R.U.T.H. or any of the artists from the label yet, but it’s in the process now.

JTH: Are there plans for you to release a project with them?

Aaron: For sure! We don’t have a lot of details, but just know that it’s coming.

JTH: How do you balance school and music?

Aaron: That’s a very good question. With school, I get a lot of support from the teachers and the students. They understand what I do but it’s really simple. I think that God has blessed me with being smart so that I can do my work and make good grades. Usually my day starts with going to school, then I come back and if I don’t have any homework, do my chores, and then I go to writing. If I have a show and I miss school, I get caught right back up. I feel like God has blessed me to keep up to date with everything that’s going on.

JTH: How are your classes?

Aaron: Pretty good. I like all of my teachers. They are all straight forward and love what I do, especially since it’s Christian music. A lot of people in my city do that raw rap, if you know what I mean. They like to see someone that’s doing something different and being an outsider. My classes are pretty good and I like them.
